Statements:
Konstantinos P Giotis (DHI Global Medical Group Founder)
Today was the annual London Hair Restoration Academy Meeting at Athens University where we presented our latest innovations. After all, this meeting is about education and innovation. I am particularly excited and proud that DHI scientists from Greece and all around the world presented amazing innovations both in the psychological aspects of hair loss and stem cells we found DNA affected and now we are working on the next face of the research. We are actually contributing at the moment to four public Universities so we can take the hair restoration field in high level through education and through University professors.
Ron Shapiro MD (FISHRS)
DHI Global Medical Group has always been on front of new things. In fact it was one of the first clinics around the world to start doing the FUE. To be honest, all the well known doctors who do FUE have started their carreer from DHI. Personally, i can name at least ten doctors who started from DHI. It is like a training ground for a lot of good doctors in hair restoration. They are doing it for years, there is so much experience and still try to make things better. Ten years ago, FUE was like a baby child and still today, is not that easy for all doctors. DHI is doing it from the birth of it. I am very curious to see what the research projects will show.
Francisco Jimenez MD (Dermatologist, FISHRS)
I am very pleased to be here at the DHI Global Medical Group Meeting. In the past, I have come several times. I want to specially congratulate mr. Giotis for being able to collaborate with the University of Athens in new research projects because I think research is going to be what really changes the field of hair restoration in the next few years. This year I see more and more people that are coming to the Meeting. Seems that DHI is expanding all over the world and I am glad to share these presentations with other guests like Ron Shapiro from the US and other well known hair transplant surgeons.
Ajay Bansal (DHI India CEO)
I’ve been coming to the Academy Masters Meeting for the past four years and it is so delightful for me to see the kind of scientific progress we are making every year. This year, the couple of projects that we launched, especially in the Stem Cells research and the Psychological aspects with the Universities, are very impressive and they will go a long way in changing the world of hair restoration globally. In my opinion, this year we’ve crossed another level of scientific advancements. In India the competition is very high but we are not looking at the competition. We really look at how we can improve our own offerings which is the philosophy of DHI.
