DHI AMM 2013 – Meeting Results

DHI Academy, in cooperation with the DHI MEDICAL GROUP, organized the ‘Academy Masters Meeting 2013,’ a global medical congress in Athens on 1st and 2nd June 2013.

This year’s innovative scientific program included live workshops in DHI Direct Hair Implantation, DirectIn, Direct MPG sessions and as well as diagnostic procedures. DHI specialists and top global scientists presented the revolutionary DHI Total Care system (DHI TCS) and the latest innovations in the field of hair restoration.

This year’s innovative scientific program included Live workshops in DHI Direct Hair Implantation, DirectIn, Direct MPG sessions and diagnostic procedures, while DHI specialists and top global scientists have presented the revolutionary DHI TCS and the latest innovations in the field of hair restoration.

On the morning of June 1st, Live Direct Hair implantation workshops were held at DHI clinic in Athens:
-10 live sessions with new techniques to restore hair loss were presented, as well as MPG, DirectIn treatments
-20 live results of hair loss restoration were evaluated, five of which concerned female alopecia and reconstruction of frontal hairlines

On the afternoon of June 1st, live presentation of Prof. Panagiotis Damaskos about ‘The essence of Greece and our debt to Greek civilization’ took place at Dionysos Theater, the birthplace of civilization, under the Acropolis of Athens https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatre_of_Dionysus

On the morning of June 2nd, live DHI Direct MPG sessions were presented at the DHI VIP Clinic in Lavrio.

On the afternoon of June 2nd, the international medical conference was held at Hotel Aegeon in Sounio.

The conference featured doctors and qualified researchers from USA – France – Italy – Czech Republic – Germany – Ireland – Switzerland – UK – Cyprus -Turkey – Portugal – Jordan – Morocco – India and Greece, who presented the latest innovations and treatments of hairloss

Among them:
· The American President of ISHRS, the largest scientific organization in the world to restore hair loss, Dr. Carlos Puig, DO from USA
· The former President of the ISHRS, Surgeon Dr. Robert Leonard, DO from USA
· The President of EADV, the European Academy of Dermatology, Professor of Dermatology Yana Hercegova from Czech Republic
·Professor of dermatology at the University of Rome Torello Lotti from Italy
·Clinical Assistant Professor, Brown University School of Medicine in USA, Ryan Welter MD
·Professor of Genetics at Charokopio University in Greece, George Dedoussis,
·The well-known British television ITV producer Simon Withington covered the conference on behalf of the foreign media

The event was aired live on Skai TV.

On the evening of June 2nd, it was time for the Gala dinner and ‘Pheidias awards’ event.

Pheidias award was awarded to Dr. Carlos Puig for this lifetime achievement.
The Pheidias certificate was awarded to Dr. Georgia Ligda.
Dr. Ilias Evaggelatos received the Doctor of the year award and DHI Paris received the DHI clinic of the year award.
